So I found the most wonderfully perfect gift for my sister. And it's fair trade!! We have a Global Gifts/Ten Thousand Villages in town and I always forget it's there because it's on a side street and they keep REALLY weird hours. Especially since in a few hours she and Quoth are going to be in their cat carriers to avoid all the moving hustle.

I need to get breakfast and start on the cleaning again.

The worst part about waiting for my ankle to heal is waiting for my ankle to heal. I do not like waiting. I am a very impatient person. Which is rather ironic considering my tendency to procrastinate. But still. So there's this thing that they do around here where people vote on who "The Best" is in various categories. Best Restaurant, Best Shop, Best This, Best That...etc. It doesn't really mean anything, but there's a sense of validation attached to achieving that title. I don't actually know how voting happens. I looooooove when I have the weekend off and it turns out I'm going to the NYC Starkid show in June after all \o/ Going with a friend this time, though, so it will hopefully be a much more positive experience.
